Blues harmonica lesson – 3 licks to improve your harmonica bends

Hello and welcome to this week’s harmonica lesson, where I will be showing you 3 licks that you can use to improve your harmonica bends. These licks will specifically help you to know whether you are bending in tune or not.

Because you will probably know these melodies already, it will make it easy for you to hear whether you are bending in tune.

You will need a harmonica in the key of C.

If you can’t bend

    Hi,
    Really nice lesson. I would like to share with you my discovery.
    I’ve found really nice app for android (maybe there is similar for ios). It’s harmonica tuner.
    It’s really nice and easy- you can practice e.g. bending and it will show you if this sound is ok. This app is for free so you can test it. I think that it can help people like me. Sometimes i just don’t know if this sound is exactly bend, or half-bend…

    This exercise really helped me with my bends and made me sound good! Will you be sharing more of these 3 songs to completion?
