Harmonica Lessons
Hello and welcome to my free lessons for Advanced Intermediate players. Someone who is starting at the Advanced Intermediate level should;
- Be able to play all the draw bends perfectly
- Always play in time
- Be able to improvise in 2nd position over a 12 Bar Blues easily
- Know what I, IV, V means
- Know the I, IV and V arpeggios
- Be able to play tongue-blocked octaves
- Be able to play a box shuffle, boogie bass line and rhumba bass line
- Be able to warble, double stop, chug, comp, glissando, hand wah really well
* If there is anything on this list that you cannot do you should start at Intermediate level.

Recommended Gear
I highly recommend that Advanced Intermediate players have a slightly larger selection of harmonica keys. You will be ready for most scenarios with 10-hole diatonic harmonicas in the keys of G, A, Bb, C, D, F. You might also want to add some of the in-between keys such as Ab, B, Db, Eb, E and F# as you require them.
