This Wednesday’s lesson looks at how to make that scooping sound on harmonica. I am playing a harmonica in the key of C but you can apply this technique to any harmonica.
What is scooping?
It’s not a full bend. Instead, it is a slight inflection. So you are slightly bending the note when you first start playing it but releasing it straightaway.
Watch the video to find out what the vocalisations are that you need to make the sound.
